Saturday September 19th

Saddled up Jack and went trail riding for about 1 hour. Worked with Jack on Indirect/Direct Rein. It was super.......I would just do eyes, bellybutton and he was turning.....I had to up my phases a few times as we do these thru the corn maze and it is so tempting. I was amazed on how light my hands were.......tried a few back ups he is still bracey but we will get it. Rode up to were my neighbor lives and there two horses were out back...........Jack started snorting and he arches his neck and his tail goes up........he acts like he is proud cut sometimes. I have to laugh. The neighbors two horses are mares by the way.

Have to work on Jack and saddling/bridling he gave me a hard time and we just had to wait it out and do other things. The bridling was the worse I have ever seen not sure why but it made me go hmmmmm. He was throwing his head in the air and doing all kinds of crazy stuff I have never seen him do before but this is the LBE coming out in him. So I took my time and he finally relaxed and accepted. Yeah!!! :) He wasn't afraid.....it was the I don't want to attitude.

Until next time......gotta go play some more Freestyle.

Sunday September 6th

Hello all. It has been awhile since I posted anything. Actually have been busy with non horsey world. I have tennis elbow which has kept me from riding and actually playing. So I have been getting other things done before winter sets in the Ohio area. I am hoping that within the next few weeks it gets better. I have been icing it daily and wearing an elbow band. I still do get to lead my guys out to the pasture and I do get a little play time in I just have to do everything with my right arm.

I have been reading my Mastery Manuals and my Savvy Times magazine and enjoying the CD's that have come along with the Mastery Manuals. Also, I have been talking with Luke from the ISC on occasion about my journey. This is very interesting. I also have a Tele Seminar coming up on September 9th can't wait to listen. So until then everyone keep it natural.

August 24, 2009 Monday

*Pin up the Pattern Maps on the tack room wall.

*Work on my look(Schwiegermutter).

*Work on my Focus(lateral and neutral).

Observation:

Oh boy how interesting...........Practiced having neutral focus with the cirlcing game and had a hard time relaxing in my body and looking anywhere. No wonder Jack gets a little RBE. I went and turned some music on and thought that would help and sure enough it did. Can't hold a tune but music sure can get your mind off other things. Closed my eyes at one point and wow this is a good way to learn to feel were Jack is and how scary that was. Practice, practice and more practice on this one.

My tack room looks like a Parelli Pin Up Magazine...lol. I had the Horsenality Chart along with other articles blown up and they all hang in my barn. They are like 24 x 30 I think......HUGE!!!

August 23, 2009 Sunday

*Spend undemanding time - grooming

*Catch me game

Observation:
Wanting to be with me more and more everyday. I just walked out to the pasture today and he was like wow what is she up to today and he was right by my side. Played the friendly game of rubbing all over. Walked away to open gate to other pasture and bam he was right there. Rubbed him and scratched under his belly all over and his neck line. Lead him into the pasture and that was all I did for today. So far.........
